Vintage 12KT Gold Filled Keychain Ring/fob Merry Christmas Tree Elco Round

Estate piece but in a condition that makes me think it could be new old stock. Only the charm is signed Elco but I think they often made chains like this as well.

Gold filled, explained: this isn't a thin plated coating — it's a solid layer of real gold mechanically bonded to a base metal, legally required to be at least 1/20th of the total weight. That makes it noticeably more durable than plated jewelry, with genuine gold value built in.
